Individual Consultation and Hands-On Session

My 15 years of training in mindfulness and the Alexander Technique, as well as my personal experience with a life-changing illness, offer concrete skills with effective track records for improving mind-body function, decreasing pain, and getting us unstuck. In a session, you’ll learn how to consistently shift your mind from dwelling on the pain and catastrophizing to fruitful techniques that create a greater sense of safety, support, and full-body integration.

Depending on what your goals are, we can apply non-judgment to where you are stuck and proceed along well-tested paths of healing.


Center your attention more frequently in the body without having to be perfect.

Learn to activate your body’s natural posture, which helps injured and aching areas receive the support, blood flow, and movement they need to heal.

Become aware of how patterns of fixation, stress, or self-judgment may be compounding your situation and learn how to apply a wider perspective, including compassion and humor, to what you’re facing.


Change happens by changing our habits, and I’ll help you learn to sit, stand, walk, and perform whatever activities are important to you or problematic with greater ease and functioning. It’s a satisfying journey as you learn to access the well-being that was never far from the surface.

Each session is approximately 45 minutes long and takes place in my quiet and well-appointed studio. I generally recommend a minimum of 10 sessions to best integrate this into your life. Packages are available.
